Species Rosita fornicata Plummer 1931

Caron (1985):
This moderately trochospiral species with slightly undulating surfaces of the last chambers is thought to have developed from Marginotrimcana sinuosa. Through gradual increase in the spire height, size of chambers and plication of chamber surfaces, it gave rise through intermediate forms to R. contusa.
