Subspecies Globigerinatheka index rubriformis Subbotina 1953

Discussion / Comments:
Toumarkine & Luterbacher (1985):
This species is characterized by a high initial spire. The walls are not as thick and not as granular as those of G. index index. The sutures are less incised. The subspecies is morphologically similar to G. index tropicalis except for the high spire.
