Diagnosis / Definition:
Tjalsma (1977):
Our specimens are characterized by a low trochospiral coiling, 5 chambers in the penultimate whorl and 3'/2 to 4 in the final one. The aperture which tends to be extraumbilical, is usually bordered by a lip which may extend over the umbilical region.
Discussion / Comments:
Tjalsma (1977):
The species was reported from the Paleocene-lower Eocene of the USSR and is found from the lower part of Core 33 all through Core 32.
