Subspecies Globigerina ciperoensis ottnangiensis Rögl 1969

Discussion / Comments:
Rögl (1985):
The last of the 5 chambers forming the final whorl is highly variable in size and position; it may be smaller or larger than the penultimate and may also be tilted towards the umbilicus. 1 The subspecies ottnangiensis differs from G. ciperoensis ciperoensis mainly in the low arched and asymmetrically shaped aperture, which extends somewhat towards the periphery. G.praebulloides pseudociperoensis Blow differs in having only 4 instead of 5 chambers in the penultimate whorl and also in the more regular, symmetrical aperture.
