Species Globoconella triangular/inflata

Discussion / Comments:
Chaisson & Pearson (1997):
Weaver and Raymo (1989) note that joining the ranges of “Globorotalia” inflata and “Globorotalia” triangula in the eastern equatorial Pacific creates a stratigraphic range equivalent to that of “Globorotalia” inflata in the higher latitudes, and conclude that “Gr.” triangula is a tropical ecophenotype of “Gr.” inflata.
