Subspecies Sphaeroidinellopsis seminulina kochi Caudri 1934

Discussion / Comments:
Srinivasan (1975):
The specimens referred to Sphaeroidinellopsis seminulina multiloba (LeRoy, 1944) and to S. grimsdalei (Bolli, 1957) may be considered transitional forms between S. seminulina seminulina and S. seminulina kochi. It is quite likely that the multichambered form referred to as S. seminulina kochi is merely a phenotypic variant of S. seminulina seminulina.
Quilty (1976):
Remarks: One of the figured specimens has not reached the final smooth-surfaced stage of development and shows a stage of development only a little removed from Globigerinoides quadrilobatus sacculifer.
