Species Amphidesma brevirostrum Hupé 1854

Discussion / Comments:
Griffin & Nielsen (2008):
TYPE MATERIAL. The only material referable to this species is the holotype, housed in the Typothèque of the Laboratoire de Géologie under number MNHN-Gg2002/99. REMARKS. The holotype is a very poorly preserved internal mould in which not even traces of ornamentation are left, contrarily to what is depicted in Hupé’s figure. It is probably a tellinid, but must remain a nomen dubium at present as the holotype is missing characters that would enable identification.
