Species Morozovella acuta Toulmin 1941


Discussion / Comments:
Toumarkine & Luterbacher (1985):
The conicotruncate test of this species has a well developed 'keel' and ornamented umbilical shoulders at least in the early chambers of the last whorl. The last chamber occupies up to one-third of the whorl.

DISCUSSION.- This taxon was discussed in the Atlas of Paleocene Planktonic Foraminifera (Olsson and others, 1999). STRATIGRAPHIC RANGE.- Zone P4b to Zone E2 (top).
