Bolli (1957):
Globigerapsis index differs from G. kugleri, Bolli, Loeblich, and Tappan in having a smaller final chamber covering the umbilicus and in higher arched sutural supplementary apertures.
Quilty (1976):
Remarks: In the specimens identified here, the intercameral sutures are not as deeply incised as in the typical cases discussed by Quilty (1969).
